Back in Sydney, we were happy to meet Adam again. Adam was so nice and offered us to stay at his place again. The first time on our travel, we were going to a place, where we already know from before and it feels a little bit like a new “home”. These 5 days we spend exploring the beautiful city. We enjoyed the sunset at Harbours bridge with an amazing view of the legendary opera house. We walked a lot through China Town, Paddy’s Market, Darling Harbour, Walsh Bay and a lot more. Adam showed us Frankies Pizza place, where we ate Pizza and drank some beers. A funny pub with funny decoration and interesting people. Because we had time, we explored also the surroundings of Sydney. We walked twice a very nice coastal walk. One was from the Bondi Beach to the Coogee Beach and the other from the Spit to Manly. From there we had to take the ferry back to the city centre. This ferry tour allowed us to have another excellent view of the opera house. One day we met Mike again, the cousin of Mark (our host from John’s River). He brought us to the Palm Beach where we walked to the lighthouse and we had an amazing view of the coast. Palm Beach is a very narrow peninsula, and from the top of the hill you can see the sea around you. We had traditional Australian meat pie for lunch and we went playing minigolf in the afternoon, before we were heading back to Bondi, for having some beers. The stay in Sydney was amazing. We both really like this modern town, surrounded from a great landscape. It was a good choice, to end our Australian trip here. We enjoyed the evenings cooking and talking with Adam. He became a friend, and we’re sure, we want to visit him again in Sydney one time in the future. Now we are looking forward to our flight over the pacific and our next adventure in South America.
